’Beyhadh’ actor Piyush Sahdev booked for allegedly raping his live-in partner

New Delhi, Nov 25, 2017 : Popular television actor, Piyush Sahdev has been booked on charges of raping a 23-year-old fashion designer, who reportedly was his live-in partner. The reports have shocked his fans and brought to fore yet another grave reality of the glamour world.

 

According to media reports, Piyush has been arrested on the basis of the allegation levelled by the victim, who was in a live-in relationship with him for last two months. Reportedly, the actor on the pretext of helping his partner a bright modelling and acting career took advantage of her.

The victim filed the complaint against Piyush on November 20 and two days later the actor was produced before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court. The actor has been booked under the Indian Penal Code section 376 (1) (rape).

Piyush gained popularity for playing pivotal roles in television shows such as Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Beyhadh etc.
