2 Lashkar terrorists, who killed Kashmiri Pandit in Pulwama, shot dead in Shopian

Shopian, Oct 10, 2023: Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces that broke out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian. Jammu and Kashmir Police said the encounter started at Alshipora area of Shopian early this morning. The terrorists were involved in the killing of the Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, according to the police.

 

Taking to microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), Kashmir Zone Police wrote, The two terrorists, identified as Morifat Maqbool and Jazim Farooq, alias Abrar, of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Security personnel are continuing with their operation.

Sanjay Sharma gunned down by terrorists in February

Sanjay Sharma, a bank security guard, was gunned down by terrorists in the Achan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district in February.

He was shot at while on his way to a local market. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for further treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
