Kanpur, Apr 09, 2019 : Two people were killed and four injured when a nitrogen gas cylinder exploded at an ordnance factory in Kanpur, Hindustan Times reported.
The injured have been rushed to the Regency Hospital in the city.
HT has learnt that the nitrogen cylinder, which was attached to barrel of light field gun, went off.
Additional chief secretary Awnish Awasthi said that the “blast was a result of technical fault while testing”.
The Ordnance factory was at Armapore.
