66th national awards: Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Mahanati are winners

New Delhi, Aug 09: The winners of the much-anticipated 66th National Film Awards were announced at 3 pm on Friday. The members of the Feature Film Jury, Non-Feature Film Jury and Best Writing Jury presented their reports to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi.
The announcement of the National Film Awards were delayed this year due to the Lok Sabha Polls.
National Award: Best Director
National Award for Best Director goes to Aditya Dhar for Uri.
National Award: Best Actress
National Award for Best Actress goes to Keerthy Suresh for the Telugu film Mahanati.
National Award: Best Actor
National Award for Best Actor has been shared by Ayushmann Khurrana for Andhadhun and Vicky Kaushal for Uri.
National Award for a Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment
National Award for a film providing wholesome entertainment goes to Badhaai Ho.
National Award for Best Film on a Social Issue
National Award for best film on a social issue goes to Akshay Kumar starrer Padman.
National Awards: Best Supporting Actor and Actress
National Award for Best Supporting Actress goes to Surekha Sikri for the Hindi film Badhai Ho
National Award for Best Supporting Actor goes to Swanand Kirkire for the Marathi film Chumbak.
National Award: Sound Design
National Award for Best Sound Designer goes to Biswadeep Chatterjee for Uri.
National Award: Best Cinematographer
National Award for Best Cinematographer goes to MG Radhakrishnan for the Malayalam film Olu.
National Award: Best Adapted Screenplay
The National Award for Best Adapted Screenplay goes to Andhadhun.
National Award: Best Costume
National Award for Best Costume goes to the Telugu film Mahanati.
National Award: Best Music
National Award for Best Music goes to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Padmavat.
National Award: Best Choreography
National Award for Best Choreography goes to Padmavat for the song Ghoomar.
National Award: Best Action
National Award for Best Action goes to the Kannada film KGF
