New Delhi, Mar 29, 2019 : Eight people were killed and 30 sustained injuries when a double-decker bus rammed into a truck on the Yamuna Expressway, in Greater Noida today morning, NDTV reported.
The bus was on its way to Noida from Agra. The incident took place under Rabupura police station when its brake failed and it rammed into a truck going in the same direction at around 5 am.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed Gautam Buddh Nagar police and administration chiefs to expedite assistance to the victims.
All the injured have been admitted to Kailash Hospital in Jewar for treatment and bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police said.
