9 killed in head-on collision between car and truck on Mumbai-Goa highway

Pune, Jan 19, 2023: As many as nine people were killed after a truck collided head-on with a car in the Mangaon area on the Mumbai-Goa highway in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Thursday.
The accident happened near Repoli village around 5 in the morning. According to the police, the truck hit the Eeco car when it was coming from the opposite direction on the road.

Nine people, including four women, died on the spot while a four-year-old boy was injured in the accident.
Goregaon police reached the spot and the child was rescued with the help of the local people.
