Earlier in the day, Sasikala reinducted her close relatives TTV Dinkaran and S Venkatesh into the party, five years after their expulsion by J Jayalalithaa.

Yesterday, Sasikala was convicted in the Rs 66 crore disproportionate assets case, with the Supreme Court upholding a lower court verdict sentencing her to four years’ prison term along with two of her relatives.

Notably, SS Saravanan, who represents Madurai South, was the one who scaled up a wall and jumped down to escape from the beach resort on Monday.

AIADMK MLA S Saravanan files a FIR against Sasikala and K Palanisamy at Kuvathur Police Station, says he was kidnapped by the duo and kept at Golden Bay Resort against his will.

VK Sasikala visits MGR Memorial House in Thyagaraya Nagar, Chennai before heading to Bengaluru. At the residence of MG Ramachandran, she briefly meditated before his portrait. She also pays homage to a life-size statue of the former matinee idol at the residence, which she had unveiled recently.

Respected Chinnamma makes a mighty vow at Honourable Amma’s memorial, tweets AIADMK.

Sasikala pays floral tribute to Jayalalithaa, offers prayers at Jaya memorial. She is seen muttering something which is not audible.
