Airstrikes hit target in Pak,we don’t count human casualties: Air chief

New Delhi, Mar 04, 2019 : Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa on Monday confirmed that the Indian Air Force (IAF) hit the intended target in Pakistan. Declining to confirm the deaths in the airstrike, he said that the IAF’s job to to hit the targets and not count the casualties, Zeenews reported.

 

"IAF is not in a position to clarify the number of casualties. The government will clarify that. We don’t count human casualties, we count what targets we have hit or not," the Air chief said.

In a statement that could end all questions over the airstrikes, he added that if there were no airstrikes, why would have Pakistan retaliated.
