Amaravati, May 28, 2022: At least four people, including a 3-year-old child and two women were killed after a cylinder blast triggered a building collapse in Andhra Pradesh’s Ananapur district.
Two more sustained severe burn injuries and were shifted to the hospital. The incident took place on Saturday, May 28, when a cooking gas cylinder blew up at a house in Mulakedu village in Anantapur district.
Two neighbouring houses were also damaged in the incident.
Learning about the incident, police rushed to the spot and launched a rescue and relief operation.
The deceased have been identified as Jainabi (60), Dadu (36), Sharfunni (28). A 3-year-old child also died in the incident.
