Another cheating case lodged against ’detective’ who took selfie with Aryan Khan

Mumbai, Oct 18, 2021: Another case of cheating and forgery has been lodged against Kiran Gosavi, one of the independent witnesses of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the Mumbai cruise ship drugs seizure case involving actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.

 

The case was registered in Sagari police station of Kelwa against Kiran Gosavi for allegedly cheating two youths in Edhawan area of Palghar.

According to the complaint, Kiran Gosavi collected Rs 1.5 lakh from the youths on the pretext of sending them abroad.

Kiran Gosavi is already booked on cheating charges by Pune Police in a separate case dating back to 2018. According to one report, Gosavi ran a company named KPG Dreamz Solutions which promised jobs abroad to aspirants from various fields. The company used social media platforms for promotion.

The case was registered after one such aspirant accused Kiran Gosavi of duping him of Rs 3.09 lakh on the pretext of a job at a hotel in Malaysia. Upon his arrival in Malaysia, the aspirant found out that he had been cheated by Kiran Gosavi.

On October 13, the Pune Police issued a lookout circular against Kiran Gosavi in connection with the case.

In the Mumbai cruise drug bust case, Kiran Gosavi’s name came into the picture when his photo with Aryan Khan went viral on social media. Gosavi was listed as an independent witness (panch) by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the case.However, NCP leader Nawab Malik raised questions on the NCB over the involvement of Gosavi in the case, saying he had a criminal record. The NCB said that Gosavi was not associated with the agency and was only an independent witness in the case.
