Bengaluru, Mar 22, 2022: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Bengaluru City is conducting searches at nine different places pertaining to nine middlemen/agents who are suspected of influencing public servants by corrupt/illegal means and by exercising their personal influence.
They are suspected of being involved in malpractices and other irregularities in the activities of the Bangalore Development Authority .
About 100 officers and staff are conducting the raid under the supervision of Uma Prashant, Superintendent of Police.
Here is a list of the 9 people who are being raided:
1. Raghu BN, Chamrajpet
2. Mohan, Manorayanapalya, RT Nagar
3. Manoj, Domlur
4. Munirathna Rathnavelu, Kenagunte, Malthalli
5. Teju Tejaswi, R R Nagara
6. Aswath Muddinapalya, KG Circle, Muddinpalya
7. Rama. Chamundeshwarinagara, BDA layout
8. Laxmana,Chamundeshwari Nagara, BDA layout
9. Chikkahanummaiah, Muddinapalya, Banglore
18 OFFICIALS RAIDED LAST WEEK
Earlier this month, the ACB in Karnataka conducted raids against 18 government officers across the state. The raids began before dawn on Wednesday, March 16. The raids happened at 75 different places across the state.
During the raids, the ACB found 3 kgs of sandalwood at the home of a Range Forest Officer (RFO) in Badami district’s Bagalkot.
