At least 14 killed after major fire at Bhubaneswar Hospital

Bhuvaneshwar, Oct 17, 2016 : At least 14 people have been killed after a major fire broke out at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. Fire engines are at the spot and officials say the flames have been brought under control.

The fire reportedly started at the Intensive Care Unit of the Institute of Medical Sciences and Sum Hospital in Bhubaneswar which then spread to the Dialysis and Medicine wards.

All patients have been evacuated, the hospital authorities have said.

Fire officials said a short circuit at the ICU is suspected to have caused the fire.
