New Delhi, May 17, 2014: An upbeat BJP will hold its first meeting of the all-powerful Parliamentary Board on Saturday after its phenomenal victory in Lok Sabha elections.
BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, who will arrive here from Ahmedabad, will be felicitated by the Board before he is formally elected as the leader of the Parliamentary party to become the Prime Minister.
Modi, who will arrive at the Delhi airport this morning, will be accorded a grand welcome at a number of places on way to the BJP headquarters on Ashok Road.
After a grand reception at the airport, he will be felicitated by party leaders outside Dhaula Kuan police station and then at a few more places.
There will be many traffic disruptions in the capital today after Modi’s arrival.
After attending the Parliamentary Board meeting, Modi will leave for Varanasi. He will also participate in the Ganga Aarti there before flying back to Delhi in late evening and then back to Ahmedabad.
