BJP foundation day: PM Modi to address party workers today, ministers extend wishes

New Delhi, April 06, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday address BJP workers as the party completes 43 years of its existence. He is expected to make the address at around 10 am.

 

"Tomorrow, 6th April is an important day for @BJP4India as it is the Sthapana Diwas of the party," PM Modi tweeted.

At around 10 am on Thursday, I will be addressing party ’karyakartas’, he said.

BJP President JP Nadda and Union Ministers including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal tweeted their wishes on the party’s foundation day.

Tweeting a video of the BJP’s rise, party president JP Nadda said that under the leadership of PM Modi, the party is dedicated to building a better India with the determination of ’Antyodaya’ and service.

Home Minister Amit Shah said he saluted the party workers for dedicating their lives to the BJP’s ideology.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated party workers for their hard work and said it was due to their contribution that the BJP is now the "largest political party in the world".

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari congratulated the party workers "who dedicated to the resolution of serving the nation on the foundation day of BJP".

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said under the leadership of PM Modi and Nadda, BJP is continuously moving forward while doing public service tirelessly.

In his last year’s address to the BJP workers on the party’s 42nd foundation day, PM Modi asserted that the party is dedicated to "rashtra bhakti" and took a jibe at the Opposition, saying its rivals stand for "parivar bhakti".
