Baby on board! Woman gives birth in car

Texas: July 19, 2015: AN incredible video has emerged of a US woman giving birth in the passenger seat of a car while her husband was driving them to the hospital.

Lesia Pettijohn and her husband, Jon, were driving to the Bay Area Birthing Center in Pasadena, Texas, when her water broke when they were around 10 minutes away.

Jon, who was driving, had his GoPro camera on his leg, to film the moment in case they did not make it to the hospital in time.

In around four minutes, Lesia is seen giving birth, as Jon continued to drive.
Jon had to remove her seatbelt as she continued to scream while in labour.
“It’s coming out! It’s coming out!,” she said.

Jon asked Lesia if she wanted him to pull over, but she told him to keep driving as the birth occurred in the car.
The couple had a baby boy weighing 4.5 kilograms and have named him Josiah. He is their first son, but their third child.

The video on YouTube has had more than 2.6 million views and counting.
