Bengaluru: Close shave for Red Bull team at Aero India 2015

Bengaluru, February 19, 2015: Two Red Bull stunt aircraft on Thursday scraped against each other while demonstrating aerobatics at the ongoing Aero India show at Yelahanka air base in Bengaluru.

The accident took place as the wing of one aircraft collided against the propeller of two Red Bull aircraft while taking-off at the air base.

The aircraft were attempting a loop at the air show, reports said.

However, both pilots are reported to be safe.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated Aero India 2015 in Bengaluru and made a strong pitch for increasing defence preparedness.
