London, Sep 13, 2017: In a big breakthrough, the government of United Kingdom has confiscated the property owned by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, signaling a massive diplomatic victory for the Indian government.

Mafia boss Dawood Ibrahim, the chief accused in Mumbai serial bomb blasts case, has been a wanted fugitive since 1993.

In 2015, India had handed over a dossier to the UK on Dawood.
