Bihar: Armed miscreants loot Tata-Chhapra Express

rail.Bihar, Jan 5, 2014, Agencies: 15 armed miscreants looted cash and valuables from 4 sleeper compartments of the Tata-Chhapra express in Jamui district of Bihar last night.

According to reports in NDTV, passengers alleged that the guards on duty inside the train chose to hide instead of apprehending the robbers.

This region of Bihar has been witness to three major train robberies in the last week itself , with a Bihar police jawan losing his life and another critically injured in one of the attacks.
