British woman raped in Delhi hotel; 2 held

New Delhi, March 13, 2025: A man in Delhi was arrested for raping a British woman in a Mahipalpur hotel in the city, ANI reported on Thursday.
His accomplice was arrested on charges of molestation, the Delhi police said.
The woman, who was friends with the perpetrator on social media, had come from the UK to Delhi to meet him, cops said, adding that the information about the incident had been forwarded to the British High Commission.
This comes days after an Israeli tourist was raped near Hampi in Karnataka.
