Goa, May 17: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday filed chargesheet against 11 accused in Goa blast case. Those against whom chargesheet were filed, include four arrested and four absconding accused, are linked to Right-wing Hindu organisation ’Sanatan Sanstha’.
Two suspects -- Malgonda Patil and Yogesh Naik --- had died after being injured in the blast. Police had registered a case against them under sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and the Indian Penal Code for waging war against the nation.
Malgonda was from Sangli district of Maharashtra, while Yogesh Naik was a Goa resident.
Malgonda Patil was a member of the Sanatan Sanstha, a group allegedly close to the RSS. Patil had spent two years in the organisation’s Goa ashram.
