Chennai woman burnt alive allegedly by stalker, mother and sister injured

Chennai, Nov 14, 2017 :  A young woman in Chennai died after she was set on fire at her home last night, allegedly by a man who had been stalking her.

The incident took place in Adambakkam area. The woman has been identified as Induja.

Her mother and sister too have suffered burns and are in the hospital in the city. While the mother has suffered 49 per cent burns, the sister has been admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The man is believed to have been harassing Induja and claimed to be in love with her.
