Cognizant techie in Coimbatore commits suicide by jumping from 6th floor of her office

Coimbatore, July 18, 2016: An IT professional on Sunday evening jumped off the sixth floor of her office building in Coimbatore.

Gangadevi, daughter of Saravanakumar, was from Namakkal and was working with Cognizant Technologies in Coimbatore for nearly two years. Police said that she jumped from the 6th floor of her office complex.

An initial investigation revealed that Gangadevi recently had a fall-out with her friend which caused her extreme stress and depression and is believed that this could have led her to take such a drastic step.
