Couple stripped, paraded naked and videographed for falling in love

MP Nov 12, 2016: A man and a woman were allegedly stripped by their families for falling in love with each other despite being already married in Ratlam district on Thursday.
The incident took place at Meglikheda village in Rawati. The couple had eloped 15 days ago from Ratlam district and had been staying there together. Reports say when the in-laws of the woman got to know about the whereabouts of the lovebirds they visited the place and caught both.
The couple was brought to their village where both were abducted, stripped, repeatedly tharshed and paraded naked. The whole shameful incident was videographed by the locals
The matter came to light when the video went viral and was widely being shared.
Police visited the region and rescued the woman. However, there has been no clue about the whereabouts of the man.
Police have booked 13 persons under different sections of the CrPC. All the accused are absconding after the incident.
