DK Ravi Death: Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah Pays Tribute to Late IAS Officer

Bengaluru, Mar 17, 2015: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah paid tribute to late IAS officer Doddakoppalu Kariyanna Ravi, popularly known as DK Ravi, on Tuesday at the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.

The CM expressed his deep condolences to his family and friends and asked senior police officers for a detailed and speedy investigation on the case.

"I am deeply saddened by the death of young IAS officer Shri DK Ravi. I paid my respects at the Victoria Hospital this morning and spoke to senior police officers yesterday asking them for a detailed and speedy investigation," the CM said.

Siddaramaiah has also reportedly said that it appears to be a case of suicide, according to Zee News.

DK Ravi, 35, was found hanging on Monday, 16 March, at his official residence at St John’s Wood apartment in Koramangala, Bengaluru.
