DMK to showcase Raja as a hero

Chennai, Feb 4:  The 2G spectrum scam is all set to take the election campaign in Tamil Nadu to a new bandwidth. While the opposition is calling it unprecedented corruption, DMK chief Karunanidhi is all set to project Raja as a hero of the people.

The DMK chief is firmly backing his blue eyed boy, A Raja, who’s now in CBI custody in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.

The DMK says Mr Raja, a massively popular Dalit leader, will remain Propaganda Secretary, a powerful position.

"The only wrong Raja committed was making mobile phones affordable to millions of poor people. Raja is in jail, I appreciate him on their behalf," DMK chief M Karunanidhi said.
