Daring Rukhsana is now spl police officer

JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Rukhsana Kausar, the daring young lady who hit the national headlines after she along with her brother overpowered and shot dead a terrorist who attacked their house, has been appointed special police officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Even her brother and uncle have been inducted into the police force.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police of Rajouri, Shafkat Wattali, the three were inducted as SPOs recently and were discharging their duties quite efficiently.

Denying rumours that Rukhsana and her family would be shifted to Delhi for security reasons, Wattali said Rukhsana had been to Delhi to take part in a function organised by the All India Anti-Terrorist Front.

It may be recalled here that during the attack on their house that took polace on September 27, Rukhsana’s parents were injured. Just last week, militants had also hurled two grenades at her residence. However no one was hurt as the occupants were away when the second attack took place.
