New Delhi, Jan 21: Veteran activist Kiran Bedi on Tuesday demanded the dismissal of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi, as the party members turned violent during their protest near Rail Bhavan in the national capital.

kiran-bedi_1Bedi, who was once a close associate of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as part of Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement, was talking to Headlines Today in the wake of clashes between AAP members and Delhi Police personnel.

The former IPS officer had attacked the ruling party of Delhi on Monday as well as it started its protest near Rail Bhavan under the leadership of Kejriwal.

"I wonder if they are trying to pressurising police to act and force their eviction so that they (AAP) can go back to people with this excuse," Bedi had said on Monday.

"Now everyone will have to think if they voted for chaos or order, for movement or governance," she had said reacting to the AAP demonstration.

Kejriwal has been sitting on a dharna since Monday afternoon demanding action against some police officials accusing them of dereliction of duty. He was leading a protest march to the Union home ministry at the North Block when the police stopped them.
