Emmys Awards 2010: Padma Lakshmi, Archie Panjabi win‎

August, 30, 2010: The 62nd Emmy Awards brought more cheer to the Indian fans. Indian model Padma Lakshmi won the Emmy for outstanding reality series for her show ’Top Chef’, while Archie Panjabi won the Best Supporting Actress, Drama Series for her role in ’The First Wife’.

The 62nd Primetime Emmys Awards was held on Sunday, August 29 and hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Emmy Awards was presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

 ’Mad Men’ won the Emmy for best TV drama for the third year in a row while ’Modern Family’ was awarded for outstanding comedy.
 
Indian model Padma Lakshmi won the Emmy for outstanding reality series for her show ’Top Chef’ beating 7 times winner ‘The Amazing Race’.
