Fatal Bear Attack on Forest Guard Caught on Camera

Raipur, Jan 05, 2015: A video of a bear mauling a forest guard to death has surfaced in Chhattisgarh.
The incident happened on December 21 in Premnagar area of Surajpur district and was captured on a mobile phone.
The female bear had entered a village in the district on December 20 and killed a local. The forest department swung into action but one of its guards, which was tried to was attacked by the bear.
The animal was subsequently hunted down by a joint team of officials from the forest department and the local police.
