Five die on spot in Chitradurga accident

Chitradurga, Dec 27, 2020: Five persons died on spot near Bijikere in Molakalmuru taluk of the Chitradurga district in a head-on-collision between cruiser jeep and a bus in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to police, the deceased persons are natives of Lingasur taluk of Raichur district. The injured persons were shifted to a hospital in Ballari.



It is said that labourers were on their way to cast their votes in gram panchayat polls in the cruiser jeep and the bus was heading towards Lingasur from Bengaluru.
