Four soldiers injured in road mishap in J&K’s Poonch

Srinagar, January 27, 2025: Four soldiers were injured on Monday when the vehicle they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch in the Sawjian area of Mandi in border Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to official sources, the incident occurred around 1:00 PM when the vehicle veered off the road while attempting to avoid a civilian vehicle that was reportedly driving on the wrong side. Four soldiers aboard the military vehicle sustained injuries in the accident.
The names and ranks of the injured soldiers were not known immediately. The condition of the injured soldiers is reported to be stable.
Four soldiers were killed and two injured in a similar accident on January 5 after an Army vehicle, which was part of a convoy, skidded off the road and rolled down towards Wular lake in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
