Gujarat polls: Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba gets BJP ticket from Jamnagar North

New Delhi, Nov 10, 2022: Rivaba Jadeja, the wife of Ravindra Jadeja, gets a BJP ticket from Jamnagar North for the Gujarat Assembly elections.
Rivaba Jadeja, born on September 5, 1990, did Mechanical Engineering at the Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science in Gujarat’s Rajkot. She joined the BJP in 2019. Rivaba and Ravindra Jadeja tied knot on April 17, 2016.
The BJP on Thursday announced the first list of candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections, which are scheduled to be held in December this year.
The list, consisting of 100 names, was announced by Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be contesting the elections from Ghatlodiya constituency, said Yadav.
Former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and senior party leader Bhupendrasinh Chudasama have said they will not contest the elections.
Gujarat, a state where the BJP is seeking a sixth term, will go to the polls in two phases on December 1 and 5, and the counting will take place on December 8.
