Mysuru, Mar 03, 2018 : Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, on Saturday, hinted at more members of his family contesting on a JD(S) ticket.
He said anybody could aspire to be a JD(S) candidate, so there was nothing wrong in his nephew Prajwal Revanna seeking a party ticket.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said the candidate for Rajarajeshwari Nagar constituency in Bengaluru was not yet finalised.
"So, he might be seeking a ticket. A decision in this regard will be taken after discussing it at a party platform," Kumaraswamy said.
Kumaraswamy, also state president of the JD(S) and his father JD(S) president H D Deve Gowda, have been asserting that only Kumaraswamy himself and H D Revanna would contest the Assembly polls. Kumaraswamy’s wife Anitha is also an aspirant to contest from Channapatna constituency of Ramanagaram district.
