However, the Supreme Court took the names of some cricketers by accident and clarified that they wanted to name officials and administrators, not players. The court also asked Harish Salve, the lawyer of the petitioner to be clear who is a player and who is not.

The apex court also said that the copy of the report be provided to BCCI, Srinivasan and other non-players. Further it also asked BCCI, Srinivasan and other non-players who are named in the report to file their objections within four days of the receipt.

The SC also directed to disclose the findings of Justice Mudgal committee report on non-cricketers and hold on to the findings related to players. Now the BCCI has been forced to cancel its AGM scheduled for November 20 and postponed it for a later date where Srinivasan was going to stand for re-election.

Earlier, on Monday the SC had said that it will go through the report and also examine whether it could be made public or parts of it could be withheld.

However, petitioner Amit Verma had called for the report to be made public in the interest of the sport. The Mudgal committee submitted the final report on November 3.

The report has been made by a panel headed by former Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana Mukul Mudgal and also includes Sourav Ganguly.
