India logs 42,982 fresh Covid cases; 533 deaths in last 24 hours

New Delhi, Aug 05, 2021: India has registered 42,982 fresh cases and 533 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.
India’s active caseload stands at 4,11,076. In the last 24 hours, active cases have increased by 723.
A total of 41,726 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, which brings the total recoveries to 3,09,74,748 across the country.India’s recovery rate now stands at 97.37 per cent.
