Indian Army foils major infiltration bid in J&K’s Poonch, 3 terrorists killed

Srinagar, Nov 03, 2022: The Indian Army has foiled a major infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch sector by eliminating three terrorists, according to sources.
The Indian Army on Thursday observed suspicious movement of some individuals along the LoC in the Poonch sector.
The troops challenged the infiltrators and the terrorists opened fired. In the ensuing firefight, one terrorist’s body was recovered along with two AK -47 rifles, one pistol.
A search operation has been launched in the area. More details are awaited.
