New Delhi, Oct 12, 2022: A MiG 29K aircraft of the Indian Navy faced a "technical malfunction" while returning to base during a routine sortie on Wednesday. The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely and was given immediate help.
The aircraft was conducting a routine sortie over the Arabian Sea off the Goa coast and returning to base when the malfunction occurred.

Pilot reported to be in stable condition.
BoI ordered to investigate the cause of the incident.
The pilot is now in a stable condition, said the spokesperson of the Indian Navy. It added that a board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the incident.
