Apr 12, 2016: Back home, Saranjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur has alleged that Kirpal, who has been languishing in the Pakistan jail since 1992, has actually been murdered.

Demanding a high level enquiry into the case, Dalbir urged the Indian government to set up a committee to find the truth into the matter.

According to report, in Match this year, his family received two letters from him, which was written in Urdu. His earlier letters pointed towards the adverse conditions meted out to inmates in the Pakistan jail.
