Is this Vijay Mallya? Kohli’s latest picture in UK

London, July 28: The Indian cricket team’s official Instagram handle (indiancricketteam) has posted a picture of an unspecified person with Virat Kohli, leading the online fraternity into a furore.

This is the cause: the person in the photograph bears an uncanny resemblance to India’s financial absconder Vijay Mallya, who is currently on the run from authorities.

While India is currently playing a three-day practice match with Essex at Chelmsford, the tainted former Royal Challengers’ boss Mallya is also in England. Indians online were angered as the photo posted on the team’s official account went viral.

The caption of the snap read, “They all love him here #KingKohli,” without mentioning the person in the picture.
