Melbourne, Jan 23, 2023: A temple was defaced with anti-India and pro-Khalistan graffiti in Albert Park, Melbourne, days after Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple in Victoria was defaced with similar slogans.
This was the third such attack on Hindu temples in Australia this month.
As per a report by The Australia Today, the wall of Iskcon temple, a well-known centre of the Bhakti Yoga movement, was defaced with "Khalistan Zindabad” graffiti in Melbourne.

The temple authorities said they were shocked and outraged over the blatant disregard for respect for a place of worship, the report said.
The attack comes just two days after Victorian multifaith leaders had an emergency meeting with the Victorian Multicultural Commission over repeated incidents of vandalism.
On January 12, the Swaminarayan temple in Melbourne was defaced with similar anti-India graffiti.
Five days later, Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple in Carrum Downs was found defaced when devotees arrived for Pongal festivities.
