Kidnap: Patna medicos threaten strike

Mangalore Today News Network

PATNA:  The Indian Medical Association of Patna has threatened to go on a strike if the authorities failed to trace the two doctors who were reportedly abducted two days ago in Samastipur district.

AK Sahay and Santosh Kumar, doctors who worked at a nursing home  in a village in the district, went missing late Saturday evening. According to an official the police who have arrested two persons on suspicion however could not get any breakthrough in this case. The motorcycles of the two doctors have been recovered. A special police team has also been formed to probe the  case.

However, the families of the two doctors fear that the kidnapping might have taken place owing to a property dispute.
