Kolkatta: Major fire at the Fish Bazaar in New Market

Kolkata, May 18, 2015:  A major fire broke out this morning at the iconic New Market in central Kolkata.

The fire started at the fish bazaar of the 150-year-old market. Around 20 fire engines are at the spot.

Thick smoke obscured a part of the market as firemen tried to put out the flames.

"The fire engines came very late," said a shopkeeper.
