Kumbh mela : Digambar Akhada camp evacuated after fire at a pandal

Prayagraj, Jan 14, 2019 : A pandal set up for Kumbh mela near Digambar Akhada in Prayagraj caught fire on Monday. As per latest reports, though fire brigades are working to douse the fire, the blaze is spreading in nearby areas, Zeenews reported.

The fire began after a cylinder blast in the kitchen at the camp. The Digambar Akhada has been evacuated. The administration has requested people to maintain calm.

The Kumbh mela begins on Tuesday. More to follow
