Bengaluru, January 16, 2025: The Karnataka High Court on Thursday said that the law cannot be changed "just because it is Prajwal Revanna" while hearing the former JD(S) MP’s plea in a rape and sexual assault case.
During the hearing, Revanna’s counsel asked for the production of documents and the entirety of electronic evidence allegedly recovered by the prosecution from Revanna’s driver.
The court, however, said that it could only allow inspection of images and not data pertaining to other women.
Thereafter, it dismissed Revanna’s plea.
