Lok Sabha MP says honey-trapped by Delhi lawyer, asked to pay Rs 5 crore

Gujrat, May 01, 2017 : A member of Parliament, KC Patel, has complained to the Delhi Police that he was honey-trapped, filmed and asked to pay up Rs 5 crore by a woman lawyer, who in turn accused the BJP lawmaker of rape.
A case of extortion has been registered against the woman, special commission of police MK Meena said on Monday.
The woman approached police on Thursday with a rape complaint against the Gujarat MP.
The Lok Sabha MP has denied the charges. “These are all false allegations, I have full faith in law; will cooperate in the investigation,” Patel told news agency ANI.
The woman, a Delhi-based lawyer, sought court’s help after police failed to act on her complaint, sources said. The court on Thursday directed police to file a case and also give reasons for not filing an FIR on her complaint.
