Lokayukta SP files FIR against Justice Bhaskar Rao’s son

July 01, 2015: Lokayukta SP Sonia Narang registered an FIR against Ashwin Rao son of Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao on Wednesday.

Justice Bhaska.Narang is probing the corruption charges against the certain insiders at Lokayukta.

Though Rao had asked Narang to stop the probe, Up-Lokayukta Justice Subhash Adi had on Tuesday directed  Narang  to proceed with the probe as per his order issued on June 23.

In the meanwhile, the State government has constituted a Special Investigation team (SIT) to probe the matter as requested by Rao.

Rao’s son Ashwin has emerged as a suspect in the scandal, in which a few Lokayukta officials have been accused of extorting government officers.
