Lokayukta police raids eight govt officials in Karnataka

Bengaluru, March 6, 2025: The Karnataka Lokayukta police on Thursday morning launched surprise raids on eight government officials in different parts of the state.

"The raids are related to disproportionate assets allegations against the said officials," a Lokayukta source said. "The seizures are yet to be made and computed."

Among those raided are TD Najundappa, Chief Engineer, DPAR (Bengaluru) and HB Kaleshappa, Executive Engineer (Grade 1), Quality Control and Quality Assurance, High Way Engineering (Project East), BBMP Bengaluru.

"Premises and properties belonging to the two in Bengaluru and six others in different parts of the state, including Kolar, Kalaburagi and Tumakuru are being searched," the source said.
