Malayalam actor Innocent passes away at 75

Kochi, Mar 27, 2023: Popular Malayalam actor Innocent breathed his last at a private hospital in Kochi on March 26. He was 75 years old. The actor was admitted to the hospital in the first week of March after he complained of a throat infection.
As reported earlier, Innocent was under cancer treatment for several years. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Dulquer Salmaan, Khushbu and several others took to social media to pay last respects.
Malayalam actor Innocent, who was known for playing comedy and character roles, was put on ventilator support when he got admitted to a private hospital earlier this month.
On Sunday, March 26, Innocent passed away at the hospital, leaving everyone in the film industry in a state of shock. More details regarding his funeral are awaited.
Innocent made his debut in 1972 with Nrityashala, which was helmed by AB Raj. In over four decades, he played diverse roles. He was particularly known for his comedy roles.
He was last seen in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Kaduva. Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming film Paachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum will be one of his last few films.
