Bangalore, Sept 21: A part of a building used as a marriage hall in Bangalore collapsed this afternoon after a cylinder exploded in a house next door. Seven people have reportedly been injured.
The cooking gas cylinder exploded between 1.30 and 2 this afternoon and led to a huge fire.
The marriage hall is named Laxmi-Venkateshwara and is located on the outskirts of the city.
At least four people who were trapped in the debris were rescued by 3.45 pm, said rescue officials.
The injured have been shifted to Lakshmi Nursing Home and are said to be out of danger.
