Mercedes runs over 5 sleeping on Mumbai pavement, driver arrested

Mumbai, Jan 22, 2016: Amin Khan, who was behind the wheel of the speeding Mercedes car which hit five people sleeping on a Mumbai pavement, was arrested on Friday.

The car with Jharkhand number plate ran over four women and a child, who were sleeping on a pavement, at around 12:15 am at Mohammed Ali road.

All five have been admitted to a hospital.

A case was registered at Pydhonie Police Station.
